Papers, presentations and articles in this section are geared for the professional aquarist and aquaculturist. Therefore, these articles are generally more technical in nature than the articles found in the Aquarium Hobby section. However, everyone with an interest in aquaria and fishkeeping can find some value in them. Good fishkeeping.

Synopsis: This paper presents the findings of a project investigating the levels of trace elements in eight commercially available synthetic sea salts along with natural seawater samples. It also discusses the limitations of the analysis and why trace element values in the natural seawater found off coastal areas does not mirror the values given in text books.
